A long time ago we switched to CLOJURE_COMPILE_X, due to a request for POSIX conformance.
Not clear that we have had discipline subsequently.
Solution: Allow either CLOJURE_COMPILE_X_Y or clojure.compile.x-y, internalize to compiler option x-y to match ClojureJVM.
